Drug Shortages

Drug shortages hit record level, says FDA - Jun. 10, 2011 -- Okay, this is BS.

Simple solution: if a company is willing to create a shortage in the market on a drug because it's unprofitable, that means they automatically lose all patents they hold on that drug, and must allow the government to take over their production line for that drug to continue it's production until they can replace it, with all profits going to the government.

There, problem solved.
